To mine, and everyone else's knowledge, this is the first failed drug test of Anderson's career, and for good reason. If I read correctly, the specific drug he took was to help mend bones, I.E. to help him recover from when he broke his goddamn leg in two places. And he's almost 40, something like that needs a boost to help recover in faster time. He did not do this to get a competitive advantage; he's Anderson fukking Silva, he doesn't need one. IMO, this is people trying to make a mountain out of a molehill.

Silva has been clean his whole career, and was recovering from a very severe injury. This seams very reasonable and realistic. Anderson's legacy is not tarnished in my eyes, at all.

Although, I can laugh at Diaz's dumbass for pulling the same shyt again, but yet still respect his "No fukks Given" attitude all the same.
Shane Mosley never failed a drug test in his career...

Just because a dude passes the testing doesn't mean he's clean...If Silva was willing to cheat now, common sense tells you there was other times he was probably willing to do it also...

They sure 'threw Diaz under the bus' alright
He was suspended by the NSAC and when he was eligible to come back, they instantly gave him a title shot and the biggest payday of his career. Coming off of a loss no less.
And compare that to Jones' treatment :umad:

he was coming back from a fukking devastating injury on a record setting time table.:yeshrug: it isn't like the roids gave him power to KTFO diaz or something. he outclassed him in striking. if he had come back and finished weidman or something i'd see the criticism. as for this i don't really care. just a legend coming back from a devastating injury to get one last big pay check.

nobody ever going to get me to believe the GOAT was cheating in his prime. as for diaz he'll probably use this to talk himself into another big money fight.

I hate that the conversation even has to go there because I think it's absurd. If he was on something then he would have been popped already or been using TRT.You don't go 18years without getting popped and then piss red in your very last fight at 40 (coming off a career ending injury) if you are an habitual cheat, it just beggars beyond belief

Naw if he was using steroids he would've been decapitating people

but also steroids make you injury prone

which is why I suspect Weidman is on steroids

steroids can be used for healing, but they also damage your tendons, ligaments, and cartilage, because your muscles become so powerful they can't handle it so they tear easy

a lot of these guys have been using steroids since high school, and that's when they first get damaged, because their muscles grow faster than the ligaments can handle them

weidman's recent injuries have a tear in his knee, and a tear with the cartilage in his ribs, it's really suspicious

if Anderson was on roids he would've had as many consecutive fights he had, he's only been out because of the leg
I think he got roids to see if it would help him beat Weidman who is a roid user, but the results aren't what he imagined because he's not an experienced doper
