The thing is I hope they have good funding. One of the articles said that if the East Coast of Africa had the same archaeological funding like that of Egypt and Mesopotamia then who knows what we would find...The stuff they might find gonna have history books rewritten
What I also find interesting is that Bantu people(and horners) are not like most Africans who have traditions building with mudbrinks, but in stone. Hell even the Ancient Egyptians mostly built in mud.

Now would you look at that, we can not throwaway the age old myth that Africans from the interior or Africans deep in "Sub Sahara Africa" were isolated from the world. They were not only having established urban areas since antiquity, but were actually trading with the Greece, Persian, Romans and Indians. And were connected to the Indian Ocean trade one of the most important in history.

This is why I always state that more archaeological work NEEDS to be done in Africa and that Ancient Egypt gets too much archaeological attention. We already know much about Ancient Egypt, meanwhile the rest of the continent is barely touched. I would say only 2% archaeological work is done.
But yeah this changes everything good for us, but bad for the Euronuts.

Yep, the Benin Bronze were said to be of the said "sophistication" of those from Rome and Greece that they could not have been African.
When arguable it can be said that Africans entered the iron age long before everyone else.
Then we have the famous one where they try to(and still do till this day) claim Great Zimbabwe which is DEEP inside Africa was not founded by Africans. But instead they tried to claim it was one of Solomon's mines!
Again Great Zimbabwe is DEEP inside Africa...Again Egypt is not the only civilization they try to deafricanize...Its just the only one they had some sort of success with. At least in mainstream media.
