I’m 99% sure India and China are playing with their numbers. No chance in hell the US with 350mil (and healthcare) or Brazil with 200mil(with ok health care) have more deaths than the two billion people nations.

India certainly would have hundreds of thousands of untested cases and thousands of unknown deaths....then again the USA is undercounting by at least 50,000 or more too.

Don't forget that China instituted completely draconian lockdowns with people welded into their fukking homes and shyt. I'm sure there were plenty of deaths that didn't get counted from untested cases, but I wouldn't be surprised if they came in way below us still due to just controlling that shyt a lot more effectively.

And don't forget that India has been hot as fukk the entire time since way back when this shyt started, which certainly slows down transmission....but the bad news for India is that the death rate is continuing to accelerate. The slowdown that came due to higher temps and a national lockdown has kept their numbers tamped down, but they never broke the curve - they just slowed its rise. The biggest megacities are starting to look ugly with bodies piled up in hospitals and shyt and it could get much worse. Wouldn't be surprising at all if they flew past Brazil in a couple months, and maybe even the USA by the end of the year if they actual document all the deaths.
