what i said was the general consensus of the times actually. and youre not doing a good job at disputing any of my comments.
i agree that aaliyah had her place. i never said otherwise. did you even read my post?? all i said was that she was never in the convo with them. the argument back then was always monica vs brandy.
its like if somebody from Xscape died in say 2004 and people try to act like they were poppin on the level of TLC or SWV. looking at your post, you would prolly disregard SWV the same way you just disregarded monica. so i see where your faulty logic is coming from.
as for the brandy "quote", aaliyah was out first for that era, so im sure all the young chicks who were working on their deals/debuts looked up to her to an extent for a hot minute.
and when did brandy say this?? after aaliyah died?? LOL. grain of salt.
