This is hilarious, cause years ago, she spoke on checking Cody on an “all lives matter” type comment, and she appeared to just generally be in love with Cody simply for him regardless of color, but then she gradually exposed herself as a sheltered black chick with not much black influence at all, and is clearly insecure about that. Damn shame. We all fried Alicia Fox for being a outwardly made of mayonnaise, but overlooked Brandy for low key doing the same. Black fans was waiting for that Scorpio Sky solo run and they put him back in the tag division…

I think a glaring issue is they dont really have experienced black wrestlers on the roster. Most of their black talent would be considered new or “kids” in wrestling or some cases green as grass.

Now could they still have some type of black/POC representation in the main event scene, absolutely….but who?

I don't remember all this juelzing when WWE refused to put major belts on black people, they mostly refuse to put black people on programming period and we've got every explanation in the world. That's why I can't fully rock with AEW, even though I recognize they're needed considering the direction WWE's headed in and they're treatment of workers.

I'm not going to celebrate WWE having black champions when everytine said black champion drops the championship, they're made to look like they never belonged in that scene in the first place. WWE goes out of their way to present them as inferior, bumbling buffoons when its time to drop the belt to an Aryan, and they typically lose in embarrassing fashion. Sasha tapping to Charlotte with three seconds left. The pin taking longer than the finish with Kofi and Lesnar. Bianca outright shytted on in the biggest PPV of the summer. There's a clear hierarchy. If you're not white or Samoan, you may hold a title, but Vince will always remind you of your place when it's time.
