That “they’re not ready” stuff is 100% their ace in the hole when it comes to black wrestlers, despite the fact that you could probably list the same amount of white wrestlers that shouldn’t be eating up TV time
So that means they should fukk up their careers just to check a box? Jade Cargill clearly got next but theyre saving her to likely dethrone Britt Baker or whoever beats her. And its a smart move. Id rather they do her the right way rather than put her out there and kill her momentum

No I’m saying they’re quick to say what black wrestlers “are ready” yet will turn a blind eye to the white ones that aren’t ready yet heavily featured.

Jade is a good example. If the company plans on building her up; then she should be on tv, not wasting away some YouTube show that most fans don't watch.
Wrestling is a television-driven "sport". The fans get behind whomever they see each week. Jade could have 1,000 wins on YT, but if she's not on TNT, she won't seem like a big deal when she finally gets her title shot. Whatever Jade is doing on YouTube in order to "get ready", she can do that on Wednesday nights.

I def agree with that. I still remember people propping up Nikki Bella as some great worker but somehow Big Swole is bad? Weird shyt ive seen

Exactly (though I would’ve said Brie instead of Nikki). But I’ve heard Swole referred to as “the worst woman in wrestling”, yet those same people want Eva Marie to win the women’s title, and are also the same people that were rallying behind Dana Brooke last year because “she earned an opportunity” just cause she learned two more moves.

If she’s working an extended match to learn how to say it better NOT be on dynamite or rampage. NXT 2.0 has people learning how to talk live on tv and it just hurts the person’s standing with the public. She’s in the 3 way tomorrow, I think they’re showing her just enough

Jade has only been wrestling for about 2 years so she needs the reps to work out any flaws before getting a higher profile program. For someone with her limited experience, she's gotten a ton of exposure and her first match was a high profile one with Shaq & Cody Rhodes where she picked up the pin (she's also in a big spot on Friday facing the former champ and Thunder Rosa). Working out the flaws on a Youtube show is very important for her and AEW because:

She's going to have next, but if you're going to put the rocket on her back (if she's not champ a year from now I'll be stunned), you best make sure she's prepared for it first.

Once again,

There have been several white wrestlers who are consistently on tv who "aren't ready" (2.0, Statlander, Marko Stunt, DMD, etc.), but the Black talent has to be perfect before they get to appear on tv regularly.
Here's your reality check: Jade was used as an example of Black wrestlers who are relegated to YouTube. Thinking on a macro level, there is a dearth of Black wrestlers who are regularly & prominently featured on AEW tv.

Your head must be deep inside your own ass if you honestly think Britt Baker isn't ready for TV.

Jade's first ever singles match was 6 fukking months ago; it's one thing if she's been grinding on the indies for a decade, but she just debuted this year and the best thing for her and the company that is investing in her in the big picture is to have more matches under her belt. Best way to look at Dark or Elevation is to look at it like a preseason football game or practice. Gives you reps in order to sharpen your skills and make sure you're ready before the regular season. You conveniently ignore the fact that the Youtube show produced Lee Johnson, Hobbs, Top Flight, Acclaimed, and Red Velvet who now get TV time on Dynamite & Rampage and can show out on a bigger stage.

This isn't a situation like Kofi (who should have been champ a decade ago), Lashley (who should have been at the top of the card when he returned in 2018 and should have been running things 15 years ago), and Truth (it's ridiculous he hasn't had another main event level program). Jade literally made her debut this year, she's #3 in the latest rankings, and tomorrow night she's in another high profile spot against Nyla Rose (the former champ) and Thunder Rosa (who's one of their best womens wrestlers and happens to be #2). There is zero reason to sound the alarm about Jade being held back.

I agree. Imagine if they waited a couple more years to push Roman into the main event and made fans want it first, everything would be different and for the better. They have the time and the roster to stagger Jade and push her to the top when she’s ready

Your head must be up your own ass if you can't grasp context.
You just wrote an article solely about Jade, when I was talking about Black wrestlers as a whole.
If you don't have anything to add to that coversation, then don't bother replying with more nothingness.

Thats the truth, AEW isn’t sidelining complete performers. The day Big E joined the new day in 2015 he was a complete performer and ready to main event. He was ready all this time, Kofi was ready in 2009, Lashley was ready in 2007. Shelton was ready in 2004, Ricochet was ready in 2018. It’s borderline disrespectful to look at Will Hobbs, Scorpio Sky & Ricky Starks today, and say they’re ready just like the guys I just named.

Actually you brought up Jade specifically and I was responding to that. You picked someone as an example that's still really green compared to others that have been mentioned who should have had championship runs years ago.
