Patriots weren't getting a 1st for Jimmy. Not before the draft, and certainly not going forward.
If Brady is gonna play for multiple years, they did sell high by getting an early 2nd round pick.

I don't like the trade because we gave Brissett away. We should have kept him if the play was to trade Jimmy all along. Brissett looks decent considering he doesn't even know that Colts offense and their OL is the worse in the league.
I did read a tweet that we are planning to trade that pick for a defensive player. We'll see by the end of the day.
