Wayne was done last year.
He's a high character guy and potential HOF. There's a reason he was sitting in Free Agency this long and it wasn't bad attitude.
This reminds me of when the Pats signed Ocho Cinco.
Hate to see Wayne do some traitorous shyt like that but if the Patriots want to sign retirees so be it.

People thought Wayne was done two years ago also. He came out and beasted with Luck. I don't think he'll have that great of a year but I think he'll def be an impact if he stays healthy.

"He done, watch this highlight of a 35yo man running for an 80 yard TD" :heh:

Nobody expecting him to be fire but he can be a great mentor :salute:

Too bad he wasn't there all through camp

No one with a brain thought Wayne was done 2 years ago. Even in the Curtis Painter year he still had 960 receiving yards.

And even if that is true, that doesn't improve the situation. If people thought he was done in 2013 that doesn't bode well for this year, he only got older. People thought he was done last year WITH Luck.

Dude hasn't even played a full season since 2 years ago.

Yeah your right, because the results from the decisions the Pats make don't speak for themselves right, fukk outta this thread

They don't, not when it comes to borderline FA signings anyway.

We are not expecting him to be no more than a #6 at best #5 Option behind Gronk, Gucci LaFell, Super Bowl Hero Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola and maybe Aaron Dobson so its not like we're expecting him to catch 65 balls for 800 yards. We want him to give us a few first downs and maybe take some of the young guys under his wing.

Ochocinco was brought in to be a starter, Wayne is a depth signing. It's not nearly the same thing but keep telling yourself that.

There's no possible way the Patriots can take an L for this signing. If it works out then great, if it doesn't then oh well. Not like our season depends on whether or not Reggie Wayne will produce
