It is a rip off of Thief man. There are similar shots, there's the exact font, even similar character types. That's not a knock on it but it just feels like an inferior copy of a much better movie. That's not even to say it's bad because I said, "it's ok" which means middle of the road. When I first saw it I thought it was very dope but as time has gone on, it's kinda fallen in my estimation

Breh it's damn near identical in tone, character arc, even story bits. Take the condescension out your voice and relax. It's not a diss to your boy, it's just speaking on the movie and more of an indictment on the director. take it how you wanna take it

Drive is practically a love letter to 80's movies, calling it a rip-off would be the same as calling Indiana Jones a rip-off of Doc Savage, or Jaws a rip-off of Roger Corman's whole career. And that's fine which makes it an ok "homage" to a superior flick:whoknows: I'm not knocking the movie for it being a rip off or homage or whatever you want to call it, I'm knocking it for just being ok.

Of course I know what Bale has won, why do you think I put the troll face. It does not change the fact he has been out acted in quite a few films he has been in. Good actor,yes, but overrated.

To be fair breh, everyone got out acted in Terminator Salvation
And in Public Enemies, he had the less showy part so it wasn't hard for him to be upstaged by Depp, and the same can be said for the dark knight. I'll give you the other two though
