That red is bright as hell, my 2012 pair was more muted but like @Brad Piff said the quality was ass. Mid sole cracked really quick and toe box was ass too.

The 2012 version was more varsity red. JB for some odd reason was in heavy favor of varsity red on their shoes rather than the bright red or infrared red. Mid 2000s era type shyt.

They never release from what I’ve heard, Nike made them lean back and they came out with a redesign and Nike going to make them lean back even more.
