F*cked up thing is, rumor is that Footlocker wants to go away from the reserve system and back to first come, first serve which is asinine.

It makes perfect sense actually as it’s foot traffic into their stores and people buying product even if it’s not what you originally wanted.

The entire reserve system was basically a pay to win system and no different than what other retailers were doing out here in making you buy product just to increase your chances of winning.

Depending on the hype of the release, you're going to need head starts to even have a chance at winning and that requires spending money to earn them.

A poster yesterday mentioned on this site that he had to use 20K points just for the chance to win the Flu Games on Footlocker and Champs.

I agree. I was just pointing out the flaw in the reserve sytem.

They're benefitting from the resell game anyways in moving sneakers that would have sat otherwise, of course they're not going to care about fixing the problem. It's why retailers literally started moving general releases under raffles and making them non-returnable.

Naw it’s garbage. fukk I look like being forced to buy Nike shorts or some wack vintage Jordan tees for a chance to win shoes? I’ve know a lot of people who’ve walked into FL after 5 and copped due to others not picking up(due to winning elsewhere) Speaking off, if it’s not Travis or some snkrs/boutique exclusive, there is no reason for missing out on anything. Way too many stores and places out there. Just got to put in that footwork. I was seeing people getting confirmations on raffles days before the flu game drop. Shien, city gear, hibbet, and the rest of the these off the path stores give out a lot of W. Especially since they ship now. I haven’t fukked with trash ass FL or JD/Finish line in years

It is true. Some of those rare and hyped Kobes on Footlocker are mainly relegated to in store release in CA only. The Travis Scott ones definitely are as well.

The Travis Scott ones make sense as stores like Finishline don't even get them for whatever reason.
