Nike seeds a lot of product for placements. It was my job for a while to work with people that were given spending allowances by Nike in the early 2000's. For music videos, movies, shows and even athletes. We used to give away 10's of thousands of products daily to stylists or directly to personalities.

Nikes marketing budget used to be more than their competitors profits. I don't know if it's still the same. But those placements are part of their calculated presentation.
