I've spent wayyyyyyyyyy too.much money on sneakers, boots and shoes these past two week.

I went from having 3 pairs of sneakers, 2 pair of dress shoes and 1 pair of boots to over 15 pairs total since last week and more are on the way:mjcry:

I was never like this before and the shoes cost a grip cause I wear a size 15/16:mjcry:

Do you think your making all of these purchases, because its so hard to find something that you like in your size, that once you find something you gotta have it in order to avoid missing out?

Yeah, that's pretty much it. At the beginning of the year I wanted to start living more and that included upgrading my wardrobe. So now I'm basically doing things I've should have started in my 20's....

I’m a fellow big footer so I get it. The shoes we like aren’t easily accessible so as soon as you see something available, you buy it.

It’s like “oh shyt this is available in my size? Let me check out before it’s too late.”

lol, sometimes I will make a quick stop at Burlington coat factory, Marshall's or Tj Maxx to see if they have any sneakers in my size. Sometimes I find some gems there

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster

Damn, that that psyche/therapy session type inquiry.

Kind of gratifying to hear that kind of content in this thread.

Mad respect.

For me, i still buy shoes due to childhood trauma... mothafukkas used to make fun of me because i wore the same kicks from 6th grade into 7th. It hurt cuz i loved shoes but momma got laid off and couldn't get me anything that summer (and i wanted to be empathetic to her situation, being a mama's boy.... she tried to get me some mid nike's but i told her i was good for the rest of the year, i'll just play less in them. God rest her soul).

To over compensate, due to my insecurities, even at the tenderoni age of 40... i feel like i have to have the best shoes every where i go. For instance, i was in vegas for only 3 days but i brought 5 shoes :ohlawd:

Let adolescent experiences dictate your adulthood and fashion scents, sneaker brehs. I'm broken as fidduck.

But I'll be damned if they bury me in some loafers or keds.

Was at Howard homecoming this past weekend. Chi1s,Kaws4s black and AMM 3s in rotation. A lot of fine black women in the area. :wow:Was able to checkout the African American museum too.

I didn’t want to create a separate thread for this but what “dad shoes” do y’all rock or recommend if any?

I was never a fan of yeezys until the first 700s came out…I was sold on the comfort as someone described them as walking on clouds (they do feel great although not THAT good lol)…the silhouette also grew on me eventually…I still rock them but am looking for an alternate shoe or brand as well…I’m looking for comfort first and foremost but I’d be lying if I said how it looks isn’t a factor as well
