Yeah, the kicks don’t look good, but this is history. The fact that this man had the ability to work with the giants of the time Nike, adidas, and Reebok, and had the influence, foresight, and creativity as a budding rap star is so wild. Man always been ahead of his time.
Not knockin the history and the importance of what Ye did (I'm aware) I just didn't like the look of the shoe.

For the hype stuff it's good but Footlocker was great for being able to get the smaller releases in-store that could be hard to get online like the CB 94s, Griffey 1s, certain Uptempos, etc.

at this point... i'm already over it. I've been acquiring my sneakers from multiple avenues and if i have to bite resell for releases like brons and... well, basically just brons, then so be it.
I've been eating elsewhere for everything i want.
It's fukk nike for a strong minute now and i haven't looked back since. Not that they care, but they lost sooooooooooo soooo much fukkin credibility with me, especially after that scandal with that cac bytch and her cac son reseller. That shiit makes my blood boil like none other. And y'all know me, i don't get upset at many things in life... so you know how this shoe stuff means to me (i put off family/children and moving with my beloved just to be with my kicks, let that sink in).
That aside, y'all wanna know something funny? The people who compliment me the most are... get ready for it.
Old white women. They love snazzy lookin' tennis shoes and will be quick to comment. The cruise i went on a few weeks ago, for example. I couldn't be on any part of the boat without some lady or child getting they neck broken. It's a really great feeling. Nobody else on that damn Royal Carribean was wearing anything worth mentioning to grandma aboot and it broke my heart... people won't wear heat any more because of fukkin' resellers making things more coveted than they should be (even GR's) and thus, people feel less inclined to rock 'em in the event they may want to flip in the future. Doesn't help that nike wants to limit production on everything. Shiit is extremely pathetic.
Did see some jordans and basic air max stuff at LAX, Dallas, Miami International (nothing at Sea-Tac, Seattle stays a weak city for shoe folks)... but other than that... nothing i don't already wear to work.

My job is only to finance my hobby. And you can guess what that is. Sounds fukkin ridiculous now that i think aboot it.
Maybe i'm the problem. Perhaps my expectations are just too severe and i have a problem (with never seeing anything worthwhile, haha. like i have control of that, sounds like a dyck response, but i'm a nice guy i like to think).
Like, i'm taking a shiit right now and i have shoes in the bathroom just to look at while i'm dropping nukes in the doniker, and every few days I'll rotate the shoes next to my bed and bathroom so it's always fresh and different (and shoes are spread throughout my house just so i have shiit to look at for whatever reason; watching tv, eat, laundry, you fukkin' name it, shoes right there by my side like a fukkin' pet). You should see the rack outside and the shoes i use just to get mail/packages/take out garbage. Now, when i'm walking the dog, there's shoes for that too.
Right now, i have CNY and Cherry 12's in front of me in preparation H for the playoffs i just ordered.
That said, I would NEVER fukkin' let SNKRS do a segment on my fleet. Cuz i fukkin' despise that company so much. And even the celebs/athletes don't impress me on that shiit.
Why they won't get someone like Jumpman Bostic or the Native American guy that owns a casino, forgot his name (was it Perfect Pair?)... is beyond me.
Any ways, i'm done venting. About to go shower with Bo Jackson and Penny in a bit. Yes hetero.
