You had to swipe right to get to mens sizes, it kinda confused me too.
I did. It had the “notify me” for the 3s and one other shoe they were talking about. Couldn’t scroll over to anything else.

Yeah I saw that too, had me thinking they were shock dropping the 3’s also. I think the other shoe was big bangs. Would’ve been nuts if they dropped.

Bruh the South Coast 9's were/are bricks....the Big Bangs are on a whole different level....yes it's all hype but if you weren't collecting back then.....then you don't know what some people had to go through to even get a pair of these....the glow with the galaxy insoles and just the colorway alone is enough to justify the price increase for me....:manny:....but I hear you $170 to $240 is a huge jump....but it's been 10 years....
You are missing the point. Its an artificial increase solely based on it being so sought after back then. Whether a shoe is a "brick" or not should play into what Nike decides to charge and is a very slippery slope if it is. Even with inflation they should cost what the SC 9s cost. They added a $30 tax because they know people will still get them to flip. Luckily it seems like they are only doing this with the LeBron line.
240 retail is crazy price for a shoe if the materials don't add up, imo. 220 for 11s are already expensive enough.

Bruh the Lebron lihe already had pairs at $250 retail + tax with the elites....it's not like it's anything new that they upcharge on hype....snd if you've been collecting for a while like myself you should already know this.....the WTT 9's were $230 and wasn't no one complaining about that price ...at the end of day the Big Bangs are IMO a classic shoe and the upcharge is justifiable......:manny:.....and just a reminder Kobe Grinches were $130 when they first dropped....the re-realease was $50 more....

What I have been getting at is that the price is absurd for what you are getting.
With no LeBron do I see $230+ in terms of quality.
O
course, Nike was gonna capitalize on the Kobe's. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw an increase with OG Jordan colorways when he does particularly with the 1s.

I can see if you are in the resell game being ok with these price hikes because they are cheaper than the aftermarket, and frankly, that's what Nike is banking on.

The price isn't absurd.....9's last forever you keep complaining about the quality but that's hilarious to me....if quality is your main issue then stop buying Jordan's and Nikes and move on to New Balance....

So the South Coast 9s will last forever also but are $30 cheaper.
I don't know why you are getting so defensive :yeshrug:
When I see a shoe that's at a premium price I would expect either premium materials or added accessories to justify that price.

:russ: you must not pay attention to my posts on here because I've been mostly copping Diadora's, Saucony's, and New Balance's.

The watch the thrones are only selling $30-40 over retail on Stockx. The Big Bangs will already be $250 with tax. Most Bron fans aren’t paying more than $300.
Hopefully the resellers realize they wont be making much profit reselling LeBrons and leave them alone.

I already broke down why the Big Bangs are more....just like with the grinches it's all hype....

Your argument is based off "quality" and it's a petty argument IMO....just continue to buy what you like and I'll do the same.....:manny:....
