More $600 worth of selling. I honestly don't see how they're going to keep track of it and the companies themselves have yet to inform sellers about it. They don't have the infrastructure in place to send out 1099's nor do they care to do so. Even FB Marketplace is going to struggle doing it.
Exactly the way the market is now, you probably got 2-3 sales max for the yr before you hit that threshold, and more likely 1-2. So essentially everybody selling online is gonna be “on the hook” for that. No way they got the setup for that. If anybody needs a new job IRS auditors gonna be in high demand

Stock X just finally got some live customer service reps and GOAT still only responds by email. No way will they do they have the infrastructure or resources in place if someone calls asking questions about a 1099 form. If it doesn't involve sneakers, then they can't give you an answer and even then, they can't even answer half the questions about your own order
A few weeks ago, they said I sent in a damaged box (I didn't) and couldn't even send me a picture of what the box supposedly looked like or what the damage entailed.
