People are giving her the benefit of the doubt like she was blindsided but that’s bullshyt. Rich white kid using mommies credit card to buy $100,000 plus worth of yeezys to resell.
This was real disappointing to hear but not surprising...I’m glad this is coming out. The sneaker market is just so rigged and insane these days...

Look at GOAT, Stock X and the people behind it.. It's literally like a fake stock market, NIke/adidas backdoor a large amount of their product, inflate the market on the aforementioned sites, people buy into the demand, pay resell and they still win.

Sneakers with a msrp of $170(jordan 1) and $220(yeezy) are selling them 5x the amount. When the "resellers" are the same ones working for said companies leaving regular people doing rigged raffles. You shouldn’t have to go thru all of that when you’re trying to GIVE someone your money.

People say they should make more shoes, but even when they do, it won’t change anything. Reselling sneakers is extremely profitable. Look at what Marcus Jordan did with the trophy room 1’s...smh

I got into APEX CHEFS... just haven’t had time to go through all the tutorials for the bots and auto fill and auto checkout stuff that they have.. honestly it’s too much.. I’ll Probly pay my little brother to go through all that and set it up for me.. but it’s legit.. they got cats on there that used to sit on mad PS5s and whatever hard shyt there is to get online.

Man even copping New Balance can be a headache. Nearly impossible trying to get a grey pair of 992s online:francis:

These? Seriously?

Yup not paying resell prices and I'm in the US

They look OK, better in black but at £200 it’s overpriced just for what I see and read.

For some reason NB fit short on my feet due to the straight/box front on some models and I won’t buy another pair unless I was physically in the shop.

They are definitely worth the 175 here in the states in terms of quality of the materials and comfort compared to similar priced Jordans.
You probably need to either get a different width and/or size up depending on the model number

Yeah I have to with Clark’s, Adidas normally 1/2 a size up and Nikes like 720’s a whole size up as the bubble pushes my foot forward.

How much would they be with taxes? If £200 (includes tax) is non hype price, I may see if they’re really that comfy.

I don't remember the exact price but I spent $180-something after tax when I bought the tan 992 from Footlocker.
