I know it's asking a lot, but does anyone know when there could possibly be a re-release of the 'Max 97 Silver Bullets? I'm jonesing hard for them but can't bring myself to pay $350+ for a legit pair. I've been looking into possibly picking up some reps in the meantime, but can't figure out how to navigate those bootleg sites lol

They dropped a few years ago then they moved on to other AM retros so I doubt they come back around anytime soon

Is the JP box the OG box? I don't like how it stands out from the other boxes different tag or the OW fukked up box with the same colors is one thing, but that shyt sticks out like a sore thumb. All I got to talk about is boxes since nothing in the closet touches earth anymore

You’re gonna have to bite the bullet if you want those, my dude. Those aren’t coming back for a while. They’ve been running the 97 into the ground the last couple of years. Don’t get reps. Never worth it.

If you want something close, get the Ultra Silver Bullets that dropped in 2017. Cheaper and they look almost like them. That’s the best option

Breh the J's are arranged by number, so when a box stands out, it stands OUT I know it's dumb ass shyt, I'm just spending too much time looking at shoes lately I been telling myself for yrs to get drop fronts, but they hitting a breh over the head for like 3 at a time

The fit and feel is nothing like its superior, original predecessor (i'm biased becaues i like the bulkiness of the og). The quality, build and materials makes the standard a more exemplary shoe in every category (the only leg up the ultra's have is lightweight and 3M radiance it exceeds in category... but everything about the original and how more substantial of a shoe it feels in hand on feet makes it so awesome)
