ASHEVILLE, N.C. —
Three pairs of shoes valued at approximately $2,400 a pair were stolen when a store employee was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday in Asheville.
The robbery happened about 7:15 p.m. at Sole82 on Merrimon Avenue.
An employee who was closing up the store reported that he had been robbed at gunpoint by a man wearing black clothing and a mask, police said.
Officers used a K-9 to search for the suspect, but did not find him.
Police said three pairs of special edition Nike SB Dunk Low Travis Scott sneakers were taken.
