Shiit cumming up this year.
It's my girls Bday next week and since I didnt' take her to the mothaland with me in Feb and to Cali with me in Jan for new years... I'm planning a trip to Vancouver for her next weekend. No biggie. But this is wear it gets interesting.
Homie coming into town to celebrate his bachelor party (2 days in Seattle/2 days in portland) during Cinco Day Mayo weekend.
Then going to San Jose in June for his wedding.
Got called to be the best man for a homie's wedding in August (planning his bachelor party in July - two destination joints, one in portland for 2 days one week and a week later - 5 days in M.I. Yayo). Good thing his wedding is local.
So from May to August... i got racks to save up.
That means - no more kicks until the holiday season.
(it didn't help that i was in southeast asia during February for 2 1/2 weeks - and no paid vacation).
That said, i gotta return my royal foamposites and my Chinese New Year 5 Lows from last year to Niketown.
That's nearly 500 bucks i have for expenses. Then i'm working mad OT at work, 10 hour days plus several more in the weekend to cover best man duties, trips, wedding shiit...
And on top of that, Seattle just implemented an RTA light rail tax that will triple your car tab fees based on what your car is worth when it was initially sold (not current Kelly Blue Book --- fukk Seattle for that scam, breh) So i may have to pay nearly 500 bucks for tabs later this year.
It really ain't cheap to live year...
Now i'm gonna be doing it in the few shoes i'll get to buy this year. haha. First world problems i know.
That said, no more jordans and i plan to buy one shoe this year for all the activities/debauchery i'll be partaking in:
Nike Air Max 97 Silver Bullet. These will hold me down for the entire summer. Built like tanks, got that retro swag and the 3M stripes are at 3 levels of the shoe. YESS!!!
Wish me luck this year. Cuz it ain't gonna be a cheap one.
I need a raise. Seattle too expensive to live.
