Its because its the cheaper alternative.

Jordan Brand is smart cause everyone wants a new pair of jays. If almost every major release u have is getting sold out within a day than you gotta give the people what they want. It's going to get over saturated eventually but even if you already have a new pair or a few new pairs it's not like almost anyone is able to get EVERY release so there is always something else, and that keeps that exclusivity factor in play. Still I feel like if Jordan keeps up in this rate, they gonna get played out sooner rather than later, just like SB dunks got old. But for now retro Jordan's are the hottest sneakers in the streets so it is what it is :yeshrug:

Today It was reported Michael Jordan ended his longtime creative difference dispute with his longtime Jordan Shoe Brand after just reaching his 30 Year Anniversary. It is said that Michael has for sometime been at odds with the company due to the feedback received from customers concerning his latest designs since retiring from the game of basketball. “I didn’t enter the shoe game to sell anything but the best when it comes to the quality of an athletic shoe and for the past few years I haven’t been happy, I refuse to continue any longer”. When asked if the company would plan to still distribute retro versions of the shoe, He simply replied, “Jordan will be done as a brand starting 2015, will I have another clothing venture?, who can predict the future? I just want to take the free time to enjoy my new wife and twins.

:ohhh:......don't know if this is true but.......:merchant:.......

:ohhh:......don't know if this is true but.......:merchant:.......

if this is true....:lupe:

...get ready for the flood of 'nike air' releases. bc3, 4s, 5s, 6s.... write your wills and hug your loved ones on release days...bot programmers gonna have their girl and kids tied up in basements pending delivery of multiple pairs...ups and fedex drivers getting truck jacked at stop lights...

...on the other hand it could be a power move or renegotiation tactic by mj. jb is making tons of money and his cut probably ain't what it should be. if he threatens to start a competing venture it could force them to give him more $$$ and control. imagine if he did leave and was able to steal away tinker and gentry from nike though...:ooh:

Honestly as much as I've loved Jordans growing up, I think its about time to close the chapter on the kicks, obviously no one can replace the classic, but let these new kids have another shoe that can be their Holy Grails.
