I feel a lot of Boys 2 men songs haven't aged too well. I use to bump all their shyt as a kid, but when I listen to some songs now they sound corny as hell

I feel Bobby Brown Dont be Cruel album aged better than any Boys 2 men joint

Outside of 'please don't go' off the first album boys 2 men are absolute trash. It's OJ Simpson r&b. There's zero bite or communal experience shared in their doofy albums past the song I mentioned.

They're the safest r&b act of all time. They're the blonde prom queen and her big black buck half back in audio form. Super trash group.

I'll say this.

Their singles(not necessarily the whole albums)were golden and deserve every bit of praise & radio play they may get in 2015.

Jodeci provided an alternative, but that doesnt take away from B2M's talent vocally. It's just that by the time 12 Play dropped and Diary of a Mad Band, ppl saw B2M as too cookie cutter.

Also, the one thing that hurt B2M and actually ALOT of 90's R&B acts was that Babyface/LA & Jimmy JAm & TL were making all their hits.

Once they didn't have the budget or their label wanted to do something different they fell off.

Using R. KElly and Jodeci for example again, they were able to make their own hits in-house, so to speak. R. Kelly wrote his stuff and Devante wrote Jodeci's stuff
