as is his right. people have the right to break up with anyone for any reason they want to. no one is required to be in a relationship with anyone if they don't want to be, thinking otherwise is the essence of entitlement. in this case he has very good reasons to dump em too. the person should have been up front with him. they're lucky that the he didn't react worse, there are definitely people out there who would have.
