Its not much to it. The NFL might cross a line that other leagues (assuming you are referring to the NBA) might not have crossed for some people. Same in the business world.
Man please. I can’t believe you compared “what about Chicago” folks to those of us who say “why you only focused on the NFL.”

Those folks use Chicago to stop the conversation. I bring up other sports to say don't stop there cuz you want to make excuses for a league that kept a racist on board for years

But arent you usually going hard against the NBA and telling people they are fake if they support it and not the NFL? Might not be you though

I go hard at everyone. Too many dudes treat activism as the latest wave. These NBA fans calling out the NFL have been the worst, putting on some act around Sterling when they said zero about the nba board of govenrnors allowing Sterling to keep his ownership past 2006. ZERO.

Don’t circle around 2014 as if it was something quick. That’s bs. Sponsors didn’t want shyt to do with an owner caught on tape saying niqqer in 2014. That was the only reason why the NBA did something.

Haven't watched a down, probably a good thing since my team couldn't find their way out of a paper bag let alone a win.

@Copy Ninja how is boycotting the league because of Kap getting blackballed hoping for thousands of black unemployment? You out here making a million posts about us "standing" with cacs mad at Kaepernick ,what kind've black man are you that you give more credit to racist cacs reasons to boycott than black peoples? :dahell:You're a fukking idiot, fukk outta here with your reddit cac talking points fakkit :camby:It's ok to support the NFL making Kap jobless because if people boycott the whole league will fold and everyone will be jobless fukking cac....

Y'all really disingenuous with that whole "My sole reason for watching football is to support black men and if you boycott it's because you hate black men and want them jobless" FOH with that bullshyt, @AVXL used that excuse and then a week later he's siding with racist white bytches and typing rants talking down on Cam Newton because of some slight comment. YOU sit here talking about im hoping for black men to get unemployed, but when Jameis Winston gets accused you all up in the thread dapping up every post calling him guilty off top:rudy: fukk outta here you anime c00n . :camby:

You know exactly where to find all those links to FB pages and conservative websites with their boycott huh? Just ignore the links of thousands of black people standing on their own reasons to be against the NFL:

Sign the Petition
Rally in support of Colin Kaepernick - Photos - Protesters rally outside of the NFL headquarters demanding Colin Kaepernick be signed

but nah you give more credit to random FB pages and comment sections huh....all those people out in those links have the same ideologies as Trump cacs right.....fukking cornball

I understand your plight, but you want everyone to feel the same way about all issues as you do but it doesn't work that way. Heres my example:

1. Will not serve black people
2. Will serve blacks but not during day hours
3. Will serve black people but they can't have window seats in the restaurant
.
.
.
37. We don't manufacture black dolls
.
.
70. NFL situation
.

.
.
83. NBA
.
88. Sponsor of NFL
.
.
93. Sponsor of NBA

Person1: Anything in the top 5 is boycott worthy. The rest they will :salute: others that boycott but they won't do the same.
Person2: Anything in the top 70 is boycott worthy  The rest they will :salute: others that boycott but they won't do the same.
Person3: Anything in the top 85 is boycott worthy  and will criticize person 1 and 2 because their boycott is not as encompassing as theirs
Person4: Not going to boycott anything and will criticize all people that do

:yeshrug: This is kind of how I see the world when it comes to boycotts/protests for black issues. This isn't my list of how things rank but an example. Everybody has their limits on what they deem acceptable behavior. We are all different.

THANKSGIVING NFL RATINGS TAKE HIT IN METERED MARKETS

Thursday’s Chargers-Cowboys NFL Thanksgiving special had a 12.4 overnight rating on CBS, down 21% from Washington-Dallas on FOX last year (15.6) and down 19% from Panthers-Cowboys on CBS in 2015 (15.3). The 12.4 is the lowest for the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving game since 2008 against Seattle (11.4).

Later in the day, Giants-Washington had a 9.7 on NBC — down 10% from Steelers-Colts last year (10.8) and down 34% from Bears-Packers in ’15 (14.6). It is the lowest for any Thanksgiving game on broadcast television since at least 2000.

Overnights were not immediately available for the day’s first game, Vikings-Lions on FOX.

Nah bruh. Pro Kap people have been putting in work. My hometown team has the best record in the league and I still don’t care

@10bandz made a post a few weeks ago detailing the facts and how the nfl has experienced the biggest drop off with young black men and black women

Of course old black people are still watching
I work media monitoring. You must be mad if you believe African American viewership generates that much an impact. Especially when Nielsen boxes are underrepresented in black households.

Multiple factors are at play here. Young AAs aren’t as enthusiastic about the nfl as oldheads are, racist trump supporters boycotting and the product in general is not good, several injuries, etc
Let stop with the theories. This is why I hate having discussions with non media types.

Let those of us who make a living in media monitoring speak. This is the case here I said weeks back.

Again....the theories are unfounded. Young people watch through digital platforms the industry has yet to quantify.

Instead of this being a learning experience, you fill in the gap with your agenda.
