Of everybody In the conscious community, I’d say Umar and Yvette are the least “lavish” living - dudes doing videos from Dubai, Balcony’s of luxury hotels, showing off cars <<< I mean am I wrong?
So the school ain’t been built yet, fine that’s a fair criticism - but what proof is there that he pocketed and is living like a king off donation money?
How long does it take to get a project off the ground and running. if there has been no evidence of the project he's apparently building for 5 years, the logical conclusion is the project does not exist. either buy/build a school or return the donations
we've gone over this in previous posts. but it's 2018, simply type in "how much does it cost to start a school" into google
allow me to quickly explain how this works: when somebody says something that you find suspicious, you simply look to see if their reality matches up with their story.
- Umar says he's saving money for a school, he needs X amount of dollars
- so therefore if you see him flying first class, rocking the latest clothes, new whips doing videos from lavish hotel balcony's in Paris, then you can conclude that he's probably lying
if you DON'T see these things, and nobody's posted them on social media to expose him - then he's more than likely telling the truth about that money <<< this is wrong?

You don't know a third of what's happening here. Trust me, I was one of Boyce's biggest supporters two weeks ago. I hate to see it happening to him but he brought this on himself.It seems to me that there are a portion of black people whose main objective is to find any flaws they can use to tear down every single person in the so called conscious community and at this rate there will be no one left and nikkas will have the nerve to complain that we have no leaders in the black community when they spent so much energy destroying the credibility of the ones who tried to fight for our cause as a race
I have no problem calling out frauds as long as it's legitimate ifor example polight and Umar for blatantly defrauding people but the other stuff are just petty to me. who gives a fukk if Watkins worked with an asian guy before or if tariq is married to a mixed race, Is that really a crime/flaw worthy of destroying their credibility and rendering their work useless.
I'm one of Tariq's harshest critic and even I give props to him when it's due. His documentaries and some of the knowledge he drops are impacful and uplifts us as a ciommunity so you will never see me advocating for his downfall.
Focus on empowering/uplifting each other, fighting the good fight together and flourishing as a race. As long as they are not an agent working for the white man to bring us down and they are not blatantly defrauding people out of their hard earned money I say let the petty shyt fly

How much money did uhmar ask for as his goal? Wasn't like 2 million dollars? So Dr Umar Johnson upped the price on his GOFUNDME minimum donation
My only issue with people saying Umar is frauding people is if he asks for 2 million to start a school and only raises 900k - 1mil how is he frauding people out of there money if he never met his goal?

And yes it does take time to get a school started, but as I've said before dude has not presented any curriculum, and as far as I know has not presented any kind of architectural/MEP drawings or shown that he has discussed how to move forward on anything. He doesn't need to have all the money in hand to get the ball rolling. I don't know if he's stolen the money but he's definitely wasting a shyt load of time. You look at the updates on the GoFundMe page, it's never anything about the school.... just promotions for his lectures

So he's hoarding the money then? i'm asking questions seriously i'm not asking to be combative or just to argue - It doesn't follow logic to scam people out of money that you NEED and not spend it.
Also lets be clear about something - every time you see Umar, he is NOT talking about that school and he is NOT asking for donations.
usually people running a scam are ALWAYS asking for money
i personally facilitated a conference call that he took where he just spread knowledge to brothers in a room - no social media, no nothing. he just did it as a favor.
