One of my all-time favorite boxers growing up. TNF/ESPN legend Charles "The Hatchet" Brewer

classic slugfest

This slugfest was intertaining as fukk. :mjlol: at around 16:00, how you fall flat on your face after getting a knockdown on your opponent :dead:

But why did the ref stop it THAT soon??? Didnt even give my man a chance to recover like he aint just scored 3 knockdowns the previous round :gucci:

Nate Jones known more for being Floyd's man and "walking punching bag" than being an amateur star and a pro. He lost his career to the bottle and then got destroyed by Lamon Brewster in his last fight. It's the reason why he talks the way he does now. Slow.

I forgot all about Sultan Ibragimov ...

Ibragimov is one of six southpaws to become world heavyweight champion: the others being Michael Moorer, Corrie Sanders, Chris Byrd, Ruslan Chagaev, and Charles Martin. He remains one of only five former world heavyweight champions, alongside Gene Tunney, Rocky Marciano, Riddikk Bowe and Nicolai Valuev to have never suffered a stoppage defeat. He also holds the second least career losses among former world heavyweight champions, having only lost to Wladimir Klitschko in his final fight. As of November 2020, BoxRec ranks Ibragimov as the 12th greatest Russian fighter of all time, pound-for-pound.[4]

Francisco Bojado - pure waste of talent...the loss to steve forbes was awful

I thought he was going to be better than Cotto back when both of them were two young prospects in the early 00s and would get compared. Bojado seemed more explosive.

Sergey lost his first shot at the cruiserweight title. Then was on track for another. Got in a fight with a Russian mobster in a nightclub in Brooklyn.

They found Sergey a bones years later buried at a mob boss"s home in NJ.

I read an article about his murder on Village Voice. Real sad story.
