Thers the WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO any others is:trash:

Usually when thers a unification match champ vs champ the winner becomes the Ring Champ N boss of the weight class

Champions fight a couple times a year or in Floyd's case usually once. a contender would never even get a shot at a title with one champion. Boxers use to be a lot more active so it worked back in the day, its not like that anymore. 4 major belts and unification bouts work out pretty well. not everyone is scooping up major belts as some in here seem to believe.

The problem I have is when sanctioning bodies strip titles for no reason or when there are "regular champions" and "super champions", thats just a money grabber on the sanctioning bodies' part. The champs have to pay the sanctioning body for each defense so i see why they do it, but its bs for one body to have more than one world champ.

to add on the NABF and the USBA are historically the "minor" titles..the titles that gives a fighter a top 10 ranking for major title

The only "championship" that matters is "The Ring" championship anyways.
