Byrd got his ass whooped badly by Vitali, the fight wasn't even remotely competitive...Only reason Byrd escaped with a W is because of a freak injury to Vitali's shoulder which stopped the fight...

Vitali KO's Spinks...He is simply too big and skillful for Spinks...Spinks got the heavyweight IBF strap going to decision twice against flabby Larry...No way he is beating a prime Vitali...

Exactly.

Vitali wasn't whupping anybody in that fight. nikka was reduced to a connect percentage of 22%. That ain't a domination or anywhere near one.

Cards at the time of the stoppage were 88-83 89-82 and I also had it that wide as I remember it...

Byrd did nothing offensively the first 5 rounds, he was completely ineffective...He only came on after Vitali injured his shoulder in the 7th round...I even remember Lamply saying all Vitiali has to do is stay on his feet for three more rounds and he would have won...Nobody says shyt like that if they're watching a competitive fight, not even dumbass Jim...

Yes Vitali's connect percentage was low but this was not a close fight, nor is using it as an example for Spinks a good thing...
