Spinks but I wouldn't put money on it. @TheNig said exacly what Id be worried about, I could easily see him getting stretched but I still think Spinks can outbox him and get the decision.

spinks name was jinx for a reason. re watch klitschko byrd. very even fight then byrd started taking over before the fight ended on a injury that seemed to come just in time for klitschko. depending on how you scored it byrd may have won a lot of those rounds and was looking like he was on his way to dominating towards the end of that fight the way james toney was getting stronger and stronger before he stopped michael nunn late. its just that its hard to picture somebody that can frustrate and make vitali miss because hes been dominating for so long. but if byrd could do that... spinks could do that. size wasnt the factor when spinks knocked out gerry c00ney it was his awkwardness and ability to put punches together.

Spinks via clear but competitive 7-5/8-4ish decision

Chris Byrd's awkward and elusive style gave Vitali fits.

Spinks is superior to Byrd in just about every way imaginable... he's bigger, more powerful, has a longer reach, more well rounded and skilled. And has an awkward and unorthodox style & rhythm which is alot harder to time...he's also great at neutralizing his opponents jab...he took away the jab of a far superior jabber in Holmes...if Holmes couldn't find his mark with the jab, neither would Vitali. And Vitali's gonna be way to slow & mechanical to catch up with Spinks...Vitali gets outboxed here. Wlad-Spinks would actually be alot more interesting.
