thanks, I found a HD 7850 for $210, is that card more than enough 2 run games maxed out tho..?
thanks, i was stuck between 560 ti and 7850 as they are around the same price, is 8gb ram not enough tho? thats what i have ordered so far..You are good as 2GB cards will be able to make the transition to next gen and still compete. Epic says that the next Unreal engine will need over 1 teraflop to run that engine. I am using that engine as a barometer because a lot of the games next gen will run on that engine. The 7850 has 2.56 teraflops at its peak. As a card, it's good, I will advise for you to get 16GB of ram though. Look hard enough and that could be found for about $100.

Why is everyone that builds a new PC concerned with "maxing out" games. Also, what does that mean to you?
I feel like people talk about I don't want to buy a 1500 PC and then at the same time they want to "max" games out and have an SSD and run at better than 1080p. Is that just me that feels like people act this way? It doesn't take much to be WAY better than a 360/PS3 but they want to get the best of the best and spend less than a GI'm pretty sure that they mean graphically. For myself, I want to run all games at 60 frames a second with graphical splendor. They want to look at games and go Can't say that I blame them. I'm looking at NCAA Football 2013 on the 360 and while I'm having fun and it runs at 60fps , frame rate issues flare up from time to time, no AA and I'm looking at this screen like
Now, I turn on my PC and I'm running games with 16xAA at 1080p and 60fps. is all I can do.

I don't think most people who build PCs have any idea what they need for how little they'll really end up doing.
My old roommate built a RIDICULOUS 3-monitor, 16GB, crossfire/dual video card joint...spent like $2000+....and he browses the internet.
