Those rims actually came on that car straight from the dealer. The only thing they did was make a larger diameter and poke out longer. Those were original Weld wheels from 1978. Them Cragar bought the pattern and made them stick out slightly longer in 84.
Yall don't be playin' around with that paint on yall cars down in Houston:wow:

I was actually coming on here to say this. Glad a fellow Houstonian is on here dropping knowledge.

Most out of state people hate swangas but its literally part of Houston/Texas culture and if you not from Texas you really not gone understand the significance of these rims. Lots of lives have been lost behind these wheels because they werent readily available back in the 80's and 90's like they are today. Back then you had only a couple of options, you either had to luck up and find a set that was hopefully in good condition or you was gone steal a set. Back in the 90's boys was paying as much as 10k to ride on 4's and even if you were lucky enough to come up on a set of wheels you still had to be somebody to ride on them cus you was definitely getting tested the second they hit the boulevard and it wasnt a whole lot of real 84s in Houston at the time I remember we used to call 3s and 4's " Dead mans" cus you was definitely risking it all to come down back then. Boys wanted these wheels bad back then my old man and older relatives have told stories about boys breaking in peoples houses to steal these wheels while they was gone or hell I've heard stories of boys stealing whole slabs out of peoples front and back yards, tow trucks pulling up and jacking shyt up and riding off with slabs while they was home the demand was wild back then. To out of towners they may just be some ugly rims but them bytches came with prestige back then.

All original with the Elbows from the factory.
This bytch clean. Them tight white seats take me back to when I was a kid riding with my old man in his lac before he had his wreck šŸ˜„. You dont see too many tight white interiors on the slab anymore.
