Culturally ignorant statement aside, it’s one thing to acknowledge a bad weave but it’s a completely different thing to see a bad weave and jump to the conclusion that the woman must be with a white man. I don’t know if it’s insecurity or ignorance but either way, it’s weird seeing that kind of conjecture from men.

It’s not culturally ignorant. Especially in W Africa. It’s normal to see young girls get their hair chopped off, so they can focus more on their education. On the other hand in the states, black girls around that age become more aware of their hair and how to style it.

Also, since Madam CJ Walker (AA)was the architect of modern black hair and got paid off it. She set the standard for black hair, in turn black men saw & appreciated it and flocked to women who cared about it. White men dont know about that same standard of beauty.
