Summary for those who have not followed from beginning

Just before 11 PM, a MIT police officer was shot and killed while responding to a disturbance call on Vassar St in Cambridge, in front of the MIT Stata Center.

Around the same time, two suspects carjacked a 2013 Mercedes, kidnapping the driver. The suspects discussed fleeing to New York City. After approximately 30 minutes, the owner of the Mercedes escaped and contacted police from a Mobil station in Cambridge.

The vehicle was quickly tracked by its anti-theft system to Watertown. Watertown Police, assisted by other agencies, attempted to stop the vehicle, and were met with heavy gunfire and explosives lobbed from the vehicle. At least one explosive device detonated. A police officer was injured in this encounter (I believe this to be the injured MBTA PD officer) and transported to the hospital. The Mercedes was recovered at the scene.

A suspect was taken into custody on Laurel Street in Watertown. EMS was requested for the suspect, who had been run over by a vehicle. The suspect was transported to a Boston hospital under heavy guard.
Multiple bomb squads were called in to disarm items believed to be unexploded devices. At least one of these was destroyed with explosives. Some nearby houses were evacuated.

A perimeter has been established, and officers, including SWAT and K9, are searching yards and houses for the suspect who is still at large.

Residents are being asked to stay indoors and not answer the door for anyone but police. If you doubt the identity of the person at your door, call 911.

Some kind of retribution possibly. Wild speculation on my part, but now I think that the picture is pointing towards Islamic extremism. I could be wrong of course.

Only a few things might link a man with an Indian name, a man with an Ethiopian name, and terrorism.

I just want everyone to realize, when the 7/11 was first robbed, which was the first crime...and when the cop was shot, which was the second crime

Nah, this is definitely some bullshyt b. I don't think this has anything to do with Islamic shyt. I think the supposed motivation between these two dudes will be anarchy, anti-totalitarianism etc.

I can see the people having a field day calling for more legislation to push through considering the Sandy Hook stuff wasn't enough to get it done
