Get out my way, pimpin'.
Terrorists get put on magazine covers every day b. If folks think this is romanticizing him then I think that says more about them than it does about Rolling Stone's editorial decisions.
Black lives are being openly murdered and destroyed with no justice but this terrorist of the other complexion is getting glorified by Rolling Stones.
Post-Racial society brehs.,
Folks are upset that he doesn't "look like a terrorist" on the cover. Maybe if they darkened his skin or photoshoped a beard then it'd be all good.
How is he a martyr Op when he hasn't even taken full responsibility for the crime he's being accused of doing? Last time I checked terrorist committed a crime and then afterwards explained why they committed said crime and thus took full responsibility for it. This kid hasn't done any of that. At his first court hearing where he was being arraigned the judge asked him how he'd plead. He pleaded 'not guilty' to ALL 30 counts. Does this sound like a terrorist to you? Furthermore, when you add the fbi's inconsistencies regarding this case, how his mother said the fbi were watching their family since 2011 and how his friends and professors all said nothing but nice things about him it makes you scratch your head and wonder if they have the right person. Btw, I know, I know he 'confessed'. Yes, he confessed AFTER being badly injured, thrown in the hospital and listed under critical condition and sedated. On top of that interrogated by the feds for hours upon hours. I mean what would you have done? I sure as hell would have falsely confessed too just so they could leave me the fukk alone. Basically, I don't believe this shyt. I will wait until the trial and until I see a video of him planting the bomb to change my mind. Until then.
Lmao, at 'maybe if they darkened his skin'. Um, why would they darken the skin of a White man just to appease the ignorant readers who think dark skinned & a beard = a terrorist?
There wasn't any outrage whenthis was put out. Folks are upset that he doesn't "look like a terrorist" on the cover. Maybe if they darkened his skin or photoshoped a beard then it'd be all good. They called him a monster on the cover--how anyone could consider this glorifying is beyond me.
