The plans is also to have Lesnar face John Cena in his first return title defense at The Royal Rumble, which could be possible John Cena vs Randy Orton Hell in a Cell match spoiler.

i love the fact that a no. 1 contenders match is main eventing a ppv. this is how i always wanted it. there's still something on the line and it still feels important but it also preserves the prestige of the title by not having it defended every 30 days. title matches should mean something.

i would have no problem with the title being defended 4-5 times a year. you don't need the belt to drive a ppv. good booking and engaging storylines will do that.

Problem is we are not even close to having good booking and engaging storylines. Rollins/Ambrose is the closest to a well built feud and it deflated once they put Cena in the mix for no real reason.

I agree not having the champ evry show feels kinda refreshing but we are not getting anything compelling in return. TV sucks either way
