for the second film, real life is a fukking joke. what else could SBC have done? like, reality itself is a comedy in 2020 and has been that way since at least 2016

One review I read said it best, does it feel necessary that SBC needs to dress up as Borat dressing up as someone else to get the two MAGA's saying on camera they believe Hillary drinks children's blood? Not one bit because we're at a point where those folks are already in the open spouting their nonsense beliefs.

The popularity (and infamy) of the first film as well as the changing times have made it so SBC has to put in triple effort to accomplish barely the same that he did more than a decade ago.

I watched an interview they did during their promo run and he seemed really protective of her IRL. He's got all the time in the world to mess with the ops, but he seems like he's pretty compassionate when it comes to his colleagues.
