Amare's contract is uninsured.
Knicks can't amnesty him. Bulls can amnesty Boozer. If we were to trade for Amare we couldn't amnesty him.
Only other guy I know with an uninsured contract is Eddy Curry and people thought he had heart problems.

I would. If Amare was on Chicago they'd still be prety legit. Boozer on Knicks they'd be better. Carmelo has essentially made Amare useless.

I'm just saying they're both overpaid based on their play. The Knicks are stuck with Amare for the reasons you mentioned, though.fukking Eddy Curry.

Be clear, though, the Knicks should be trying to trade Amare. The fit with Melo just isn't working. I don't know if they'll ever have any chemistry together. Melo has been at his best this year when Amare has been on the bench.
