No matter how cool they seem the chances of them being a racist are high.

My math says 2/3 of white people are racist.

That leaves the other 1/3 that are at least neutral.. which is actually kinda strange given the circumstance (being a part of the dominant group, but not abusing minorities or even helping minorities).

I was once c00n adjacent. I was always very militant about Black issues, but I believed the hype that racism was pretty much over. I knew there were still hardcore racists, but I thought they were a small percentage. I left the hood at college age and didn't look back for about 25 years. Never had any major issues but always little nagging shyt like white people would say something slick or I'd get discriminated against at work. Again. Chalked it up to the small group of racists.

And then there was Trump. Suddenly all my polite and friendly white coworkers and neighbors were accepting Trump as their leader and not pushing back on any of the rhetoric he was spewing. Truth and justice did not matter to my white acquaintances. Only power.

I was shocked. Some of these people I considered friends. Had partied with them and been to their cribs. One of my old smash buddies even said some shyt like "well, give Trump a chance".

I literally skipped town. I just up and moved back home one day.

And now. I'm skeptical of any white person I meet. It's no hate from my end, just careful. Same as I treat a stray pit bull. I wish em the best but stay the fukc away from me cause I don't know you like that. And I tense up in case the pit tries some shyt, but I don't attack him.

Portugal, Spain, France, and England had colonies in the Americas AND in Africa after the scramble partition.
The scholars of the corresponding colonies write about their histories as extensions of the imperialism of the Euro power. French West Indies & French controlled Africa, for example.

Belgium wasn't a player in the transatlantic slave trade, so the Congolese story is not being exchanged, compared, studied by a related colony in the Americas. The German atrocities in Namibia are under-reported and under-covered for the same reason.

I get it. The targeted victims of that atrocity view Hitler as the most evil man ever, and try hard to get others to adopt that view.

I said article is incomplete because I kept waiting for it to mention the genocide German govt./military committed in their African colonies decades earlier. A precursor to the holocaust.

That genocide and their policies in Namibia were standard practices of Euros when dealing with indigenous people in that era. Only difference with the Nazis was that they used those policies domestically towards people who (thought they were) German citizens.

Hitler is not quiet the outlier that Jews portray him as, nor is the holocaust quiet the unique atrocity that they'd have us believe.

As I've written multiple times here. I'm descended from people who endured chattel slavery, and ethnic groups who endured colonization post slavery and during the scramble for Africa
What other people endured as part of atrocities that their families suffered will be personal to them. I don't have to parrot their views, consider their suffering greater than my ancestors, or say that their alpha bogeyman is mine .
