That just means the routing information more than likely was deleted from various sources high enough that it can't be reached. Doesn't mean it's gone. I imagine it just an issue of readding them back. A company like Facebook is going to have a lot of redundancy for recovery when it comes to actual data.

EDIT: it's just a DNS issue. The website data is fine. Just can't be reached from the outside at the moment. shyt happens to a lot of businesses.
