Not a question of whether it's fake or not. It's a question of why there was no payoff for the babyface black wrestler in a one-sided feud where the white heel is playing a racist character. That is not the way a feud like that would normally play out. Book wasn't given much of anything there, and never got revenge on the racist character who smiled while he absolutely sonned Booker on the mic. Of course it's a script, but it sent a very clear message.
