I don't know why people keep mentioning chyna. theres been bigger and/or badder chicks in wrestling, before and after chyna. plus by the time chyna really started wrestling, she was losing muscle mass, trying to be pretty & feminine. the whole jeff jarrett/intercontinental title thing was really a year too late.

Tessa is more of a bad-ass than chyna was when she started fighting dudes, and shes definitely a better wrestler.

Chyna was the prototype. But stylistically? I could see those women wrestling men and not have TOO MUCH of my suspension of disbelief shattered. It just looks goofy and out of place with Tessa without fukkery involved

They really should had Sami and Tessa goes balls out with the match and had Sami with a inch win the belt, while Tessa looked like a million bucks despite the shytstorm brewing. Not only it would had saved face for the company and not make them look like scummy shyt as this week had shown:

• RVXVideos getting the twitch channel banned
• Cage leaving the company
• The Tessa title win looking meh as hell and desperate as hell on Impact's part
• Sami looking as much as a loser as him beating his wife

You think that this is just about wrestling skills? Chyna not only had the build but she also had the mainstream popularity to go along with it. The truth is that none of these women are going to legitimately beat any of the men, which is why you have to have someone who looks the part and has the crowd support.

This may sound sexist, but a guy losing to a woman in any sort of physical sport, fake or real hurts the credibility of the guy, no matter how small the guy is and how big the woman is.

Considering one of the biggest controversies of the last year was transgender athletes in women's sports, it's very difficult to suspend my disbelief that an average sized woman could beat an average sized man on a regular basis.

I was at an indie show last night where their women's champion beat a man clean, and even though he was smaller, I was still like.

It did get a huge pop with the women in the crowd tho.
