I COULD HAVE SWORN SOMEONE
SAID KRAYZIE BACKED OUT
AFTER THE GEORGE FLOYD DEATH.

DJ Paul said it. Funny thing was Bone did a virtual concert from some small bar in Las Colinas shortly after Paul announced that. Krayzie wasn't too beat up about Floyd to attend a concert in front of no fans. :francis:

Damn shame I was looking forward for BONE to refresh the main stream media about their legendary status and maybe they could get their much deserved respect... Because they was about to bust 3-6 head open .. and 3-6 are legends also .

So it would have been eye opening how good Bone really were doing their Prime ..

shyt I'm totally biased being born and raised on 105 in ST.CLAIR but I'd put them up against any other rap group song for song in a VS battle. :yeshrug:

keep telling yall, this is not a good look for bone's legacy.
i dont understand why bone fans on here actually want to see this go down.

battling and attaching yourself to a group who was nowhere near as big as you, is a terrible way to reintroduce yourself to mainstream media.
youre not gonna get the respect you deserve by downgrading your own legacy.
3-6 mafia would be the only ones benefiting from the battle - which coincidentally, is the reason why they started the beef with bone back in the day. i think maybe krayzie bone realized this.

you dont see T.I. out here trying to battle lil flip because they had beef 16 years ago. hes challenging 50 cent.

bone thugs were the biggest rap group of the illustrious 1990s and dont get any credit for it in hindsight.
youre not gonna drive that point home to people who werent around/dont know, by battling DJ Paul. lol. theyre just gonna look like some ole midwest group that happened to have some big hits and cash out.

sure 3-6 mafia are legends but theres levels to this.
its like mase said. he wouldnt battle just anybody. alot of rappers have hits & classics, but he has moments. thats the same scenario here. 3-6 has a nice amount of hits & classics, but bone thugs have MOMENTS. theres levels to this chit. its like layzie bone said, bone could take down any group in a verzus. and i agree with him, unless certain groups bring solo work into play, so why would they waste their shining moment on a 2nd-tier southern group??

Swizz is a hating ass fakkit for that shyt. He swooped in and told them to chill, now he hasn't even gone out of his way to mention Bone while he's hyping up all these other potential Verzuz battles...hopefully big names like Fat Joe get in his ear and start applying pressure, I know Joe is a big Bone fan

also I wonder how the format of a rap group version of Verzuz would work...there are time constraints so they wouldn't be able to play everyone's verses, maybe they'd play Bizzy verse from Notorious Thugs, then Krayzie's verse on Body Rott, then Wish's verse on Mo Murda, then Layzie's verse on First of the Month?

its not hating. its smart business.

they set the bar too high with verzus, and swizz prolly doesnt know how to sell bone/3-6. its certainly not a battle that will spark water-cooler conversations at work, or getting grandmas to tune in like the last handful of battles have done. its not gonna penetrate urban culture either.

the whole bone/3-6 thing is very niche outside of certain sectors of fans on rap forums, and people who are from the south/midwest in the '90s. outside of that, your average rap fan doesnt even know that these two groups had beef, not even your average person that bumped "art of war" back in '97.

he prolly doesnt want to take a chance on it, but at the same time, he knows that they can do numbers on their own, that will make swizz & timbo look disposable and un-needed. then theres the domino effect and you'll see other artiss from the south/north/west doing their own thing and maybe a whole nother platform poppin up. i see where swizz is coming from, even if its not the most honorable way of doing things.

Bone deserves better than Corny by Nature. And LOL @ you steady acting like Three 6 were nobodies compared to Bone.

lol @ calling somebody corny while trying to boost up 3-6 mafia.

when did you get into hip-hop??

naughty by nature are icons. and can actually go track-for-track with bone in a 20 round format. theyre also mad cool with bone thugs.

3-6 mafia are legends in their own right but NOWHERE NEAR as big as yall make them out to be in hindsight. and yes, theyre nobodies compared to bone thugs. a group who was going toe-to-toe with and outselling your 2pacs, biggies, snoop, dre, wutang, etc. thats another thing. you dont want to go from that to potentially losing a poll to a C-List group because they have a cult-following amongst a bunch of snot-nosed kids on the internet. im sure somebody got in krayzie's ear about this stupid chit.

i'd like to see 3-6 mafia battle somebody like the big tymers or lil jon & the eastside boyz.
they have alot of young fans, so they could easily battle a current act like the migos. i could def see that maybe making it to verzus if the migos pushed for it.

Good point but people still wanted 50 to battle lower level dudes like T. I or Ross. Its a good chance for 36 and bone to remind people of the heat in their catalogues. Hit for Hit T. I would lose to 50. But it would remind people and introduce people to T. I and how dope he is. There's no shame in losing a versus to a group as dope as Bone. It's promotion tho

of course theres no shame in losing to bone thugs. thats the point.
im saying 3-6 mafia isnt on their level. bone should be battling a much more legendary group. 3-6 are legends too, but theyre a few tiers below bone.
bone wouldnt be properly representing the heat in their catalogues by battling 3-6 mafia. they would be downgrading their legacy and the real-time impact/significance of those records by battling a lesser group. 3-6 has hits, but bone has moments & monuments. they should be battling other groups with a similar rap sheet. youre not going to see wutang out here battling the boot camp click on Verzus. BCC are legends but wutang would never do it.

i wouldnt consider TIP & ross to be lower level than 50 cent. but i would also understand 50 cent passing on them, to battle someone bigger.
the thing with 50 cent is alot of people view him as a 'one hot album' guy who made alot of wack hits. TIP kinda brought some of that to the surface when he challenged 50, saying 50 is one of those new york rappers who got a pass for alot of weak chit. TIP got a pass for alot of weak stuff too tho. but yea, 50 cent is a guy whose legacy is on a slippery slope that could be placed in a number of different tiers depending on your criteria and how you view him.
