Watched it. Good acting from the leads (esp Margot & Charlize) and John Lithgow...zero comedy, though that's understandable given the plot. That one scene is super uncomfortable.
Where they giving head and getting choked out

Movie was well acted. Charlize became Megan Kelly. My gripe with the film, and I can't even really call it a gripe is, outside of watching the appearances of Fox personalities, the movie wasn't that entertaining. Not really sure how you make sexual harassment entertaining tho...

John Lithgow stole the show to me. Such an underutilized actor over the years.

Trying to make those Fox News bytches sympathetic... shyt is clearly not working :mjlol:
Really don’t know who the audience for this was supposed to be. “Conservatives” aren’t going to see it because they think it’s anti Fox and therefore an attack on their values, and “liberals” aren’t going to see it because no matter what harassment allegedly occurred, it’s still the racist bytches from Fox News. (And then there’s everyone in the middle, who don’t want to watch women getting groped by gross old perverts):mindblown:

This movie was flat and dragged during the middle act.
The acting was decent, but most of the characters came off one dimensionally.
I knew the movie was starting to fall off the rails when I didn't sympathize with the victims.
The movie also had the same issue I had with "Vice". The tone of the movie was all over the place.
Did it want to be a satire, straight up drama, or political thriller.

Much better than Vice, but definitely had similar problems. Margot nearly broke me in her 2 main scenes though. Great performance.

The constant stream of Fox personality "cameos" was really tiresome.

Yes the cameos felt weird, it was bordering on MadTV sketch

This really. The movie's biggest problem is that outside of generating the most basic anger over sexual harrassment, this movie generates no sense of anything. There's no sense of victory in these women coming out with their stories, no sense of exposing a widespread rotten corporate culture, just nothing. It's a strangely empty exploit.

Thought the same about Vice, and this but I probably liked Bombshell more. The movies seem hollow and shapeless, the themes too muddled and distilled to mean much, or be expressed for a viewer to be impacted by.
