Capela staying healthy is gonna be key for us

and the wings are pretty much picking up where they left off

Weird game. Only 3 things I can really take away:

1. Vucevic\Gordon outplayed Capela\Collins. Particurly, Vucevic was having his way at times.
2. You could tell it was a minute since the Hawks last played a real game.
3. This team will need time to develop chemistry on both offense and defense. Loads of talent all around tho.

My takeaways:
1. Rust-All of our players outside of Gallo looked rusty. It's clear that all haven't played this level in awhile and of course, they haven't played since March. It showed in Vooch's +25 +/-
2. Cam and Hunter are looking like our most improved players from last year, I would be shocked if those two aren't our high WAR players along with Capela and Trae.
3. JC chemistry with Capela needs work but he at the 5 was working all night as long as Vooch wasn't on the floor. Gordon looked like a superstar v. Gordon today.
4. Trae's defense looked night and day better yesterday regardless of his offensive struggle.
5. Bogi going to be a real nice fit next to Trae when they get more chemistry.
6. Orlando is the perfect team to play at this stage. They are a team we are chasing for the playoffs and they have chemistry already. It's a good measuring stick for us.

I been too hype for this season to not have a consistent plug. Feel like the mark in the gas station parking lot like "yall know who got the gas"

Huerter & Hunter looked good the other night..hopefully Trae gets to play more.

I think they’ll be a real good team later on in the season when they start to gel.

We were able to score and keep a game close with next to no offensive output by our 30 point a game star. That's a massive difference. The balance we can have offensively is gonna be night and day. I also love the fact that Lloyd essentially gave Cam the keys to run the second unit offense. I can actually see him Rondo and Gallo being our bench core

I was assuming Cam would start over DeAndre, but Hunter must have been putting in work during the summer. He didn’t look bad at all Friday night.
