I have them as a 6th-8th seed. I don't think they will go any higher than that as they didn't really solve their defensive issues. Their offense should be enough in the East though.

We have some really good defenders and even our poor defenders have high IQs that should make for a competent team defense overall. Our offense could legitimately be the highest scoring in the league when in rhythm so if our defense can be decent the first 43 minutes we can play matchups in crunch time and finish games strong. If it all comes together I see us getting homecourt 1st round, 6-7 seed as a middle ground, and 9-10 at the worst. We stay healthy and there's no way we're not making the playoffs.

He's everything Demarr Johnson was supposed to be
Our defense is going to be much better than people think it will be. Capela is a tremendous defender when healthy. Cam covers as much ground with BBIQ as anyone in the NBA. Damn near moves like Tony Allen if Allen was 6'10. Bogi is going to be a massive defensive upgrade over Kevin even if offensively, they are in the same range. Bogi has a 6'11 wingspan and can even guard 3s and did in Sacramento. Trae is a better defender than people think he is. Yes, he's not good at it but he's not this worst in the NBA everyone keeps saying he is. His issue is off the ball. On the ball, he can guard people and move his feet well. We just need to protect him on defense.
I loved Demarr but that car accident got him. His talent was insane but he wasn't Reddish. Cam just has a better tool-kit and Cam is a bigger player. Cam is already 215. Johnson was like 201 when he was drafted by the Hawks. Both around 6'10.He's everything Demarr Johnson was supposed to be
All they need is to be at least league average on defense and should be a step in the right direction. I keep forgetting that Capela is still in the league as he completely disappeared after the trade from Houston.
If they can make it into the playoffs, I do think Rondo can be a difference maker for them as well as the leadership that he brings. I actually think that the Lakers will actually miss him as Dennis Schröder is unproven in the playoffs so far.
The overpay for him was worth it IMO.
