I think part of it is that they don’t tell us the full extent of the injuries to the players. I think we as fans are so eager to see players return that we look at reports and are too optimistic on when guys will return. It’s also a combination of how players respond to treatment during their recovery and how honest they are with doctors about how

The only injury outside of Dunn that really sticks out to me is Hunter because it feels like he came back too soon, but IDK if I would go as far as to lay the blame at the trainers/medical staff
