You were so desperate to try to shift the focus to ban bets and whether your name appeared on the show, so you could post your screenshot and make it about that. The ultimate point i...

Lol, you know you've lost cool points with your Coli clique don't you?

You know you done fukked up now, don't you?

You violated one of the 48 Laws Of Power. You shot past the mark.

You tried to be slick and greasy and go to IMDB and THOUGHT you had a classic "Internet" exposal!

Instead your plan flopped like Gargamel, and allll of your Internet friends clearly saw you take an L. You challenged me and took an L.

Now you want to bomb and back peddle like Carmelo Anthony, but I pulled your hoe card.

So you go fishin about my tv credits, then get mad when I post a proof pic?

You need more people! Everyone here knows you took an L prof. Every single man who posted in this thread knows you trying to expose me through IMDB backfired on yor square ass!

Now from this point forward you address me as "Former Hang Time Actor," when you reply to me.

I am also going to call you Uncredited from here on!

Nah YOU'VE helped plenty, Uncredited my friend!

Like my avatar? I had my RTT logo before that, but you wished to challenge me about my credentials, so now my CREDIT on Hang Time is there for all your Coli friends to see!

Thanks Uncredited! Your lame ass attempt to deceive the coli has brought the light to the surface for your whole clique to see!

You are still posting NBA press releases word-for-word without crediting the team or league. Which is a foul on two accounts:
  • It's boring
  • It's plagiarism
You still don't have dates on the top of your blog posts (the bottom, buried next to your tags is too hard to find)
You have posted in this thread 10-20 times, but have only updated the content on your site a 3 times this week.

Instead of arguing in a thread like this, which is doing nothing for your site, brand, or unique views... you could be generating content for the site and doing things to get actual viewers to come to you.

The sad truth is, I actually was on twitter when this went down, and the first thing I thought is "I hope he has made some changes to the site, because people will go click on your profile and link, just to see what Bomani was airing you out over.

But of course, it looks largely the same, the banner doesn't go all the way across the page, the color scheme still looks bootleg, your grammar/editing is still poor in the posts you don't outright steal from league press releases....

You talk a lot of game about putting yourself on, but your lack of preparation and dedication led to a massive blown opportunity. You are more committed to arguing with people on this site about that episode you cameo'd in a middling saturday teen drama, than improving your site, or craft, or product.

And that is probably the biggest shame of this whole episode.

.

Here again is white supremacy, the criminalization of the black man.

So now im "stealing," I'm "plagiarizing?"

The Hawks and Clippers both email RTT press releases, I simply post them:

I'm going to say it again: Those press releases I post, NBA teams EMAIL them to me.

But just like that dude Uncredited you want to misrepresent the facts. I don't steal shyt. Do not criminalize me. I simply post the press releases the teams send me.

I accepted what you said before about banners, grammar, etc, but I'm checking you on this plagiarism shyt.

And EVERYONE is on social media more than they update their site. Journalists and broadcasters post on twitter and Facebook all day. So please don't use the white supremacist argument with me that I am somehow "lazy." I have plenty of content on my YouTube page that folks haven't even heard. Why generate a bunch of new content for people not to even consume?

I am doing much behind the scenes, and my work is thorough enough for the NBA so far which is what matters most.

:russ: @ this thread.

What I get from this thread is that OP peaked in high school. Vankman, we get it you're proud of your 15 seconds of fame but that show ended 14 YEARS AGO. Nobody hangs their hat on a small accomplishment from that long ago. And what is up with those "short films" ? 30, 40 second clips do not make them short films. :mjlol: @ Tornadoes for life. Do you really think Anthony Anderson sits back and thinks about that role, after all the high grossing movies he's been in ? Let it go breh, you're living in the past.

The videos are satirical man, but your post made laugh. Obviously it's corny, as was the show. That's kind of the joke.

I interviewed the legendary rapper Kurtis Blow THIS YEAR for MY WEBSITE.

Would it be fair I deem that as an accomplishment?

So now im "stealing," I'm "plagiarizing?"
The Hawks and Clippers both email RTT press releases, I simply post them:

So here's an important point - the New York Times mails me their newspaper. Every day. Without fail.

But I can't turn around and post their articles word-for-word without saying from the beginning that it is THEIR work. I can't use quotes from their writing or reporting on my show... without saying "According to the New York Times" or "Today, the New York Times posted this..." Etc Etc Etc.

I get AP wires at work. Reports from all around the world. Small fires in North Dakota, Civil Wars in Central Africa... everything. I also get releases from senators, congressmen, small town government officials, and the like.. But I can't simple write that stuff into a script because they sent it to me. If somebody else wrote it, the first rule of delivering news is to let the viewer know where it came from.

Somebody else's work being sent to me = it being mine now. And posting a press release as if it's something you reported is at-best lazy, and at-worst... plagiarism.

Take a look at how NBA.COM posts this same release:
http://www.nba.com/hawks/news/nzing...usion-officer-atlanta-hawks-and-philips-arena

See up at the top, how they make it OBVIOUS that this is a press release? That is responsible. That is how it is supposed to be done.

I don't steal shyt. Do not criminalize me. I simply post the press releases the teams send me.

But you don't label them as such. You post them as if they are an article. You don't link to their original source, you don't in ANY WAY show that they are somebody else's, and not yours. You are pretending you generated the content. That is stealing.

I accepted what you said before about banners, grammar, etc, but I'm checking you on this plagiarism shyt.

"Accepted"? You asked for criticism, and I gave it.
You thanked me for it, and then did not put any of it into use. Which is fine. But you're not "checking" anybody. You are on social media and in here asking people to help you out, asking people to put you down, asking people to check out the site and offer advice.... some of it is obvious hate, but some of it is decent.

But you are not putting the work necessary to improve your product. 20+ posts in here, 3 blog updates this week. It's Thursday.

Because you are trying to build a content-distribution model. You want people to come see the content... and then there is no new content. You're not dealing art, or selling an album... where there is a finite amount of work, and people are vying for it. You are trying to push a website and blog posts, and then not making enough blog posts for people to see. If I logged onto your site yesterday, saw that there wasn't anything all that interesting, and decided to give you another shot today... what do I- the consumer - get?

A Hawks PR release that isn't even labeled or linked to the original.

Which is why you're getting so few unique users each day, and they stay on the page for such a small amount of time. There is no reason to stay.

I am doing much behind the scenes, and my work is thorough enough for the NBA so far which is what matters most.

Which brings me to my original point.

To the underlined - getting on an professional team's PR email list IS NOT an accomplishment. Getting a press pass to practice is not an accomplishment. One is a simple online request, and the other is an application with little vetting. They WANT ANYBODY to cover practice for them. They WANT ANYBODY to get their press releases. That is the whole idea of PR. The more people the blast out to, they happier they are.

Do you know how many GOP/Conservative mailing lists I'm on? They don't care that I'm a liberal journalist, they just want my email address so they say they're blasting out to One million and ONE readers.

You did not pass a test, you did not win a skill competition, you did not do anything of merit to get on those lists... you simply applied. Most people in here don't know the process for these things, but I do... so telling me "you're thorough enough for the NBA" is laughable... because I actually covered professional and amateur sporting events for a living.

To the bolded - That's great. I'm glad there is a bunch of work going on behind the scenes. But the scenes themselves, are terrible, boring, plagiarized, or all three. You talk a lot about the moves you're making for your product, but your product is a garbage pile.

You'd rather yap about the revolution, than pick up a weapon...

I'd take you seriously but you say stupid shyt that's in the bold.

I understand now, you USE to cover sports...that's why your tone is as such.

As easy as it is to be in sports media, only 19% are Black who cover the NBA.

I don't got time to fukk with due process, "plagiarism" when I'm fighting a system that thrives on theft.

So fukk linking back to te original article or giving credit. Now it's up to te originators to come make me take it down.

I think you're salty I'm living the life you wanted, and have taken bolder steps. You make points I don't disagree with, but you're also hating, which is cool and for entertainment.

I'm not just on a list, I have access. I get credentials to attend events. If they ate so easy to obtain than there would be more than 19% of Black NBA sports media.

It's going to take ore than simply calling my body of work "nothing" to ease history. I'm published, cats just can't say that.

It doesn't matter about the following you INITIALLY have.

That's why I don't do too much, I'm still finding the lane in which I wanna drive. Once I find a flow I can kill um with content.

:snoop: Capitalizing your spelling errors, in a response to grammar critiques.

I think you're salty I'm living the life you wanted, and have taken bolder steps.

:patrice: I don't think you really understand what's happening here. I'm not the type to covet somebody else's life. I don't think talking about how big you're about to be is a bold step. I think it is the kind of thing people do... when they can't figure out what to actually do.

I definitely have never wanted your life. I mean... what life? You can't even adequately maintain your angelfire website.

But you're gonna get that following, then start cooking up the content, right? :jawalrus:

Get it, man. Good luck.
