Ehh wouldn't call him a Coli Breh. He got ran off the Coli for spamming, stealing content and looking like a guy who follows strippers to their house...

Quikkkkkkkk, it's all good baby.

Me putting you on a site like LakersNation which was in the forfront of fan websites means a lot to ME.

Having you email your vocals from D.C., then having my homies mix and master it, and have my homies do the album cover (Which is being shown in an art show in Asia right now) means a lot to ME.

The fact that I CONNECTED WITH A BROTHA with the purpose of doing something CONSTRUCTIVE, and I got to share that with the world means a lot to ME.

FUKK who I've rubbed wrong. They obviously don't know the work that I have been putting in since 2008.

But you and I know, don't we Quik? We know how hard that Twerkitgrul go!

So as long as you and I know what's going on, as long as REAL NIKKAS WHO KNOW ME know what's going on, I can give a damn about the outsiders.
Man, Bomani is an a$$hole so I wouldn't sweat that dude too much.

But to the bolded part, I'm not so sure that's the right attitude to have. If you're trying to grow your audience and your presence, then there will be a lot of people who have no idea what kind of work you've been putting in since 2008. Instead of saying "fukk them, they don't know me", you could say "I want to be so interesting that these people will WANT to know more about me, then they'll learn about the work I've put in".

That's where it comes to building connections with people. Not that there's anything wrong with self-promotion, but people are much more likely to respond, want to know more, and feel connected to your work if you at least attempt to make a personal connection. So yes, cold-calling, buying customer info, etc. is a standard business practice. But networking and knowing how to do it right is what gets you individually ahead.

This is me and Quik from my 2010 album Purple Reign, the track is called Lakers Haters.

To the posters Quik is down with who don't like me, don't take this out on him. Don't neg rep him or kick him out of the clique just because I thought he was talented, put him on my album, put him on LakersNation.com where THOUSANDS of people got to hear him rap. DO NOT hold that against him.

Not only are his methods of self-promotion obnoxious and self-sabotaging, but his attitude is toxic. If by some chance some merciful soul ever ignores all of that and decides to check out his site, his actual "writing" is pointless garbage and rife with basic errors.

He's essentially taken every measure to ensure he will never be successful.

the ether in this post :whew:

I am already a "success."

I am not trying to "be successful."

I'm already home.

I have already interviewed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, prof. I have already been on Hang Time on TNBC for two seasons where I talked football with dikk Butkus.

While on Hang Time I had the honor of WORKING WITH and MEETING Alan Young.

Do you know who Alan Young is @GoddamnyamanProf ? He is the voice of Uncle Scrooge from Ducktales :duck:<-----See that smiley nikkas post? I worked with the cat.

Now I could go on about my two years at LakersNation.com and how SUCCESSFUL we were there, the podcast and the download numbers on iTunes, but I've said it all before.

I understand :umad:, but the point I want to be clear between you and I is that I already walk around the City of Inglewood feeling like a SUCCESS.

Don't base "success" on MONEY. That is what white supremacy teaches.
Thats cool but you were begging for money last week.

No one gives a fifth of a fukk about your appearance on short-lived 90's teen basketball sitcom Hang Time :heh:
