super duper basic with it. this has no energy like all his "beats" which are technically just unadulterated loops with no extras

getting away from his era of prominence was a blessing
Craven is lazy with it, and I'm not a big fan of his, but I liked the production on this album. I do agree he's literally just finding old records, looping them and letting it ride, but sometimes it is fire (i.e. Roc Marci - The General's Heart).

i'm not a hater of drumless loops but i can't call someone who has never programmed kicks and snares a hip hop producer. i could be wrong but i've tried to find any programming in his work. the loops are fukking lazy as shyt.
