The scrub dudes are much cheaper. Beats are damn near free.

You got unknown random producers out here doing whole projects for $500. They just wanna get their name out. And rappers will definitely use them to keep their names buzzing between projects they actually care about. A lot of these dudes don’t want to pay for beats anymore. So the random beatmakers are f*cking the game up with these dollar store tracks.

Rusty J jumped on millions of those type of tapes . . .
and all built off the hype of this track . .

I feel like we gonna get another Alchemist joint and maybe the Cardo joint but I’d be surprised if the others see the light of day

Gonna pass on the new one :francis: Last couple projects been huge letdowns. Been bumpin his older shyt from 2018-2023

I saw an IG post on a page asking people what they thought the best Boldy project was and V Don commented saying his joint that they got coming soon so i feel like we at least getting that one, Alch is the one most likely to do an album/Ep with him again that's pretty much guaranteed but with the others yeah who knows. i feel like the Dilla joint is never gonna drop tbh.

Project the threads about - Boldy ain't the problem here its the beyond lacklustre beats. These little throwaway projects with random no name producers ain't it at all.

I put this in another thread but I wondered what Boldy's hospital and physical therapy bills are after the broken neck and the car accident. I have a gut feeling that he needs the money, because he also has another kid on the way. But yeah. Since the car accident he's been dropping at a much faster pace. I feel like he can charge easy money to less known producers to do an album with him. Before the car accident he still dropped frequently (maybe 3-4x per year), but not at a ridiculous pace like he's been doing the past year or two. Feels like he's dropping something every single month now.

Either he needs the money, or maybe he just realized life can be gone super fast after his accident, and he's started just releasing everything he makes.

Any info on when the Alc album is releasing?

I'm done even listening to the no-name producer joints
no info, but Boldy's been posting some vids from inside Al's studio and Al's been releasing some loosies in the past year. I don't know when it drops, but it sounds like Al has a stupid busy year this year.

He’s dropping so much the titles to the albums are on some lazy shyt

I said the same. HAHA!

Boldy needs the bread. So he's just trying to throw out as much music as possible. And I think when you do that, you start becoming less creative. Only person that can drop that consistently and not get stale, is Spitta. Boldy can't sit around waiting for ALC to finish all the other million joints he's working on, so he's been trying to just work with whoever he can, to keep his name alive.

But it's become more about quantity than quality with him lately. He needs to take a break and refocus.

You’re right about needing the money medical bills are high then on top of that a new baby on the way so he’s working with whatever producers are sending him beat packs that he fukks with so in his mind it’s a win/win situation for both parties. And i think he’s trying to keep up with Larry June, Roc Marci, who don’t drop as frequently as him but their always around and some of their best work is with Al so he’s just trying to stay afloat amongst his peers.

The thing with Larry though, is he doesn't miss.

He can hop to different producers and still keep his quality level high. Once you get into a thing where you're dropping these throwaway projects, you end up f*cking up your following. That's how you lose fans. It's better to just slow it down and make sure every project is on some high-level sh*t, rather than just dropping whatever to keep buzzing.

Eto was the same with regards to quantity at one point, he had a one of the best albums of the year with Muggs than started dropping albums what seemed like every month. Ended up checking out :dead:

Thought that Boldy/Harry Fraud album was really poor considering the quality of music they're both capable of.

I'll wait for this Alc and V Don shyt :wow:
